Freddy Freeman
With his "ear to the ground, listening for a sound," Freddy Freeman shares what he hears with his audience and his fellow musicians. His sound is filled with warmth, honesty, and soul, but knows no genre, mixing Country, Rock, Folk, and R&B influences into a rich stew of American Pop Music. After developing his sound in New York, both solo and with a band, he created Bearapalooza, a showcase of musicians of the Bear community, which has done successful festivals all across the country and is still going strong after 8 years. As a bigger man, a recurring theme in Freddy's work is positive body image, as he hopes to help more people feel comfortable in and appreciate their own bodies in a variety of shapes and sizes, while striving to be as healthy as they can be.
